This page contains several pictures.  It may take a few minutes to load.

Messy Bedroom
Where my day begins at 6AM.

Breakfast
Breakfast with CNN.  Always up to date on the world news.

Craig's Breakfast
My roommate eats standing up and usually takes his cereal on the bus.

Messy Kitchen
Three men and a mess, baby.  We aren't the tidiest, but we could be worse.

Off the bus.

Getting off the bus at school.  It's a forty minute commute but at least I'm not the one driving.

Front of school.

Front doors of AIS (American International School).  I walk into school at about 7:40AM every morning.

Mailbox
Some things never change.  Checking the mailbox first thing in the morning.

Classroom Door
Here's the hall outside my room. It's primarily a middle school hallway so it gets very loud when the kids are there.

Teacher Stu
I respond to Mr. Stu or Mr. McDonald

Kids in the lab
Manal and Elham doing an experiment.  Some kids wear traditional Arab clothes, some don't.

More kids in the lab
Mahmound and Chidi compare results.  It was 68 degrees outside that day.  Notice the winter scarf and coat.

The Blacktop
The view from my room is the recess area we call "The Blacktop". Kids play here during recess and lunch.

First Graders
My friend Jenna and her first graders returning from recess.  They are the ones that call me "Mr. Tummy".

The Library
Our library is two floors.  It's also where I go to check email at work.

Checking email
Here I am checking email. I can also get on-line from my apartment, but this is a nice diversion during the school day.

Staff Lounge
So many things are different here.  For example I hang out at the staff lounge instead of the English Office.

The bus ride home.
The bus ride home is more fun than the one in the morning. Here's Evita pretending to laugh at my jokes.

Clean Bedroom
When I get home my bed is made.  Today was cleaning lady day. Nowal even left flowers for me.

Clean kitchen
Ah, no dishes to wash.  And my laundry has been done and put away for me.

Gamal the boab
Gamal is the building superintendent.  He waters, cleans up, and pays our utility bills for us.
